Market update January 2022 Metro Atlanta

VLOG by Jennifer Lewis, Exp Buford Realtor-9 months have passed since doing the numbers last so I thought, we should review them again. As with anything the numbers can be deceiving. I was shocked to see a negative appreciation in 3 specific cities Sugar Hill, Gainesville, and Johns Creek . I would have never guessed. As I stated, January is a skewed month to be pulling data and over all you can see appreciation, but not much according to the graphs. Of course buyers and sellers would say different. Take a look and see the biggest increase was in Duluth, GA. The smallest appreciation was Johns Creek, GA. Interest rates overall went up the last 60 days and we will see what that means for 2022. The true test will be April-May numbers. There is still very little inventory. For more information on different communities and cities in North Atlanta metro please call me Jennifer Lewis (470)326-7077 or check out more from me at MoveToGeorgia.org.
